I have had my Drummer for a few year's now. I had to put my stock exhaust back on to run on Laguna Seca Raceway. Oh my! I see why I put the Drummer on. The thing is so quit. I just can't believe the difference in the sound. My daughter ask, "why does it have a different voice now?". I told her, it has laryngitis..... |

I actually like the stock pipe on my 12R. Nice a mellow around town, but growls when that valve opens up. When I had the racekit on the bike, it did sound pretty sweet. My head just couldnt take the hammering of the sound though after a nice 30 mile ride. Would be dizzy from the constant rumble even with ear plugs in |

Sslowmo, why did you have to run the stock exhaust on laguna seca? |

Because their is a sound level requirement. They say you have to run your stock exhaust or it trips their sound meter that's out on track. I've also heard some stock exhaust has set it off. And this comes from the Keith Code guys.... |

If I'm not mistaken, they've lowered it to 85db . I've seen pictures of the exhaust systems on Porsches that run there, talk about an abomination!?!? |
