I'm looking for the part numbers for the stock springs. Just in case I don't get a whole set. This is for a XB12R 2007. I've had it posted as a trade out for my low set of springs for a stock set in the classified section. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 449647.html?1238961087 |

Fork Spring is J0113.3A8 Rear is K0425.02A8, but you may need the whole assembly when changing size - K0410.2A8 |

Are you sure? The fork springs J0113.3A8 are only $6.12 & the Rear spring K0424.02A8 was $36.32. They tried pulling the K0425.02A8 & K0410.2A8 up but it wouldn't show.. |

The K0410.2A8 should have been K0410.02A8, I'm sorry. The other numbers should have been correct. These are from by '07 Firebolt parts list.
I'm ordering bits for someone who wants to lower an '04 XB9R, and I think that you may need both forks, the rear shock complete, the lower triple tree and the side-stand. (Shame you can't swap but the distance isn't practical and the forks are the wrong diameter) My '09 parts list gives the same number (K0410.02A8) for the rear shock assembly, and J0113.3A8 for the fork spring. The '09 forks are black so the part numbers (J0121.6AAZT & J0122.6AAZT) are different. My '08 manual gives the forks as J0121.3A8 and J0122.3A8 which is the same as the '07. It doesn't seem like they are superseded or anything. Even if it is the parts system should show an upgrade. The part number for the side-stand should be L1167.02A8 in case you need it. Sorry for stuffing you 'round with the shock part number. I can't explain the others. |

I am thinking that you can change just the springs out on these without allot of tear down and hassle. Any one done this on here????? |

when I looked into moving my 12R to lower springs the info I found indicates that the low/scg front springs will not fit my 12R's forks due to size differences. It's a shame but it looks like a suspension swap between a scg/low and an R is more involved than I am interested in right now. It would be nice if Buell would offer a Low option for their bikes...for the inseam challenged. -d |

It looks like the part numbers for the natural alloy forks have disappeared from the parts system. Black may be the only option. Anyone know for sure? |
