Hey! I will be going down to the dragstrip tonight and am going to participate in the bracket race for a trophy. Whats the best 1/4mile time that a 12R can do? the best i've done was like a 12.56 if i can recall, but im aiming for what the bike can do (Message edited by ochoa0042 on April 03, 2009) | ||

I saw a post, can't remember if it was here or Buelletinboard, where the guy said he ran an 11.9 on a bone stock bike. There's also a youtube vid of a Buell floating around here that ran low 12's, like a 12.1. As they say, it's all in the launch. If you launch it good, you can hit high 11's. Good luck. Anybody have any 1/8 miles times? Going to make it up the the local strip this summer and my buddy wants to line up his 636. | ||

I ran a 12.04@114 followed by a 12.05@115, both with horrible launches on a stock 08 12R. |
