I am going to buy a NEW Xb12Ss or a NEW leftover Xb12stt in the near future. Do you think I will be successful in finding a less than MSRP price on a '09 model? Should I expect to find the '08 models significantly discounted? Has anyone seen any deals in the Mid Atlantic region? I am near Philadelphia. Thanks |

Frankly if you are nearly Philly . . . Liberty in Rahway, NJ would be worth the trip. They are a sponsor here . . check them out. |

Kosco H-D in north jersey offered me a deal on an '09XB12R so I'm sure they would deal on all models. I've seen a bunch of dealers advertising leftover '07 tts. Gotta be able to STEAL one of those! |

Yes you could get either under MSRP... I got my XB12Ss 2009 for $10,700, $205 over MSRP OTD. That was from one of the more buell friendly (AKA more pricey) dealers as well. |

Hacienda Harley in Phoenix Az. Has 2 07 STT's. They want MSRP of $10,500 and wont take a penny less. They said when Buell says to discount it , they will. They don't have to worry about my dirty boots on their floor. |

07's for MSRP OTD is rediculous! Would be a steal for an 09, a okay deal for an 08 but I would want some extras thrown in. For a bike thats two years old, even brand new, it should be well under that IMHO. Atleast compared to my 09 for $10,700... and that wasnt a blowout dealer. Another dealer had an XB12R, 2009 for under $9,700 OTD. Thats $300 under MSRP. |

and that's before tax, title, and DEALER PREP. I asked how they could charge that much for a almost 3 year old bike and their reply was it's still new and under warentee, I countered with as soon as I roll it out the door it's still almost a 3 year old bike and has already lost $5K in value. And to add insult to injury they wanted to offer $8K trade in value on my 04 Ultra, Yep, there's Dealers and Stealers. |

Sucks that they don't reply to emails. Ah well, hd salesmen are mostly the same way they've been the 20 years I've looked at them. |

National powersports distributors or nationalpowersports.net has a 2007 xb12stt with 1900 miles for $6795.00 Thats where I bought my bike. They have great deals, nice people and ship anywhere. Many people buy sight unseen, due to their reputation and they disclose everything. Tons of pics. Place is in Pembroke,NH |

Big Sky and Ocala were the only ones with low advertised prices. Though amazingly clam up when asked total costs in a text format instead of verbal. Paranoid they'll be pinned down or be under bid i guess. One dealer (forget who) said as much on their site. That they would not give written quotes cause they were tired of people using them to get a better local deal. The ones, like my local dealer(11k for an 07 they uglified+freight+prep+tax+tags+title) will likely keep sitting on them till they find their sucker. The 2010's will start being announced in a few months. Maybe Japan Inc will bring back their big twins or v4s. Marcos, I agree with your choices of XB models. Good luck in your quest. |

I don't know what the OTD price would be at Ocala, but I was at that dealership last week and they seemed motivated to make deals. I think the deal is real. I'm not a fan of the white plastic or the number plate, but I think for the price of new plastic and a different seat it would still be a good deal. It has been tempting me. I am in a holding pattern right now for personal reasons, though, so I am trying to be strong and patient. Plus, I am also tempted by the X and XT, which they have but are not pricing nearly as aggressively. |

Lancaster HD in Lancaster PA has advertised on their web site 07 Stt for $7999. That's usually a final price for them. Just add taxes. Was just in there two nights ago & didn't see it. Maybe it's in the back. |

By the time Big Sky got around to emailing they'd already sold the 08. Now they have a used one for the same price. I think I'll wait a couple years for the 09 SS to be discounted leftovers. |

Same here... my 09 Ss was $9995 OTD. They couldn't get the black one I wanted and they discounted the red one they had in stock to the MSRP of the black. I simply told them $9995 OTD on a cash deal or I go somewhere else. They didn't act happy, but certainly didn't refuse to take my check either. |
