I was wondering if anyone had the Buell Streetfighter seat. What are the advantages or disadvantages? Is it more comfortable? Mark Never Give Up! |

I have the Streetfighter seat and love it. More leg room and tank to tank riding. Did Strugis and back from Salt Lake last year. Recommended. DBird |

Or you could go for Corbin's $380 seat:

Or (last one), you could order a custom seat from Rich's Custom Upholstery in Seattle. This is my current seat. Very nice.

Prof.... will the tail bag for the Lightning still fit that gunfighter? Looks like a sweet seat, I've always liked Corbin (once you break'em in. |

Thank you all. I don't really want the Corbin as my tiny butt is never comfortable on them. I don't think I want to send my seat off to a custom shop without them measuring my backside and custom fitting it to my ass. The Streetfighter seems the way to go. Thanks again. Ride safe. Hi Mark...I use the Streetfighter seat on my XB9S...the "hump" is just a little further back on the SF seat, so you don't get that annoying rub the stock seat gives. I ride lots of 8-10 hour days while on holidays, and the SF seat suits me just fine. I suspect its way cheaper than a Corbin too. |

Hey there, just want to put my 2 cents in on this subject.... I asked the same question when deciding to go with the Streetfighter Seat. Well, I bought the seat and it is great for me! More comfortable than stock and not as ugly as the Corbin in my opinion. And as said before on longer rides, your ass ain't hurting! |

Dave, how much for the seat w/shipping to MI? I still get a 15% discount at my dealer for another few months (1 year from bike purchase). Flick and Buellin', do you think the Streetfighter will be more comfortable for a short fella like me at 5'8"? How much farther back does it seat you? Thanks. Mark Never Give Up! |

Well I am 5'10" and it feels good to me. I don't think it sits you back any. It feels a tad wider but I can still flat foot it on my 9S. What I like about it is that it is kicked up a little more in the back to hold you from sliding back on hard accelerations! |
