I have a wierd sound like a pulsing scrub in my front end whenever i hit the front brakes, i just changed the pads not to long ago and im just now starting to get it, anyone had this problem and maybe a solution? i thought about my front rotor being warped but it was perfectly straight when i just changed my pads?

...took your rotor off and had it professionally checked for flatness, did you? Tolerances on things like that are pretty tight. It could be outside of spec and not noticeable to the naked eye.

The front rotor floats, it's possible you've got some grime or other crap in one or more of the mounts and it's not allowing a portion of the rotor to float properly between the pads.

Do you feel a pulsing as well? This is fairly common. It's not usually accompanied by a sound though.

As Darthane says, the rotor floats. There are springs behind each of the mounting bolts. You should be able to push the rotor down with your thumbs at each mounting point. You might try that in order to ensure you don't have a rock behind one of them or something.

You might also try jacking the wheel up and see if it spins smoothly when it's off the ground. Perhaps it's bearings.

Man i hope its not bearings, i just had to rechange my rear bearings after only about 600 miles on them. This time i went with a industrial bearing instead of the crappy HD bearing, more heat and better rollers. But anyways, i checked my front rotor with a level and laser, the laser level i have is designed to check the trueness and straightness of parts so i figured that would be sufficient. Maybe not? But ill check those springs, i just painted the inside of my wheels and put it back together about 150 miles ago so i dont think anything got in there but its worth a try i guess. Im not sure if it actually makes a pulsing sound, but i can feel it in my brake lever, and maybe im just paranoid about the bearings. thanks for the help though

That big ole honkin rotor does make a 'buzzing' sound under pressure. After a while you won't notice it........... Now if it is a roaring sound, bearings may be in for it. But the 03 had issues with bearings also, don't kno if you know that or not, just stabbing at the issue. If not, check the color of your seals, if they are black they need to be changed, and the dealer should do it at no cost to you because Buell reimburses them for the labor and part.

Easy stuff first...

Clean your rotor and wheel really good especially the disk bolts..

Gunk/dust builds around the bolts and doesn't let the disk move.
