I know I probably shouldn't even be posting this. But a Bad Webber who went to Daytona, found this photo on the men's room floor of a well known bikers bar, the Alley Cat Saloon. Real popular spot with the Rossmeyer pit crew, or so they say. Looks to me like it could be a photo of an XB 12 CR or something like that. Don't know anything else about it.
Anonymous? Anyone? |

Pretty sure somebody asked what a XB would look like in CR trim on one of the many buell forums and that was the picture posted, from photoshop. |

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the XBS get a slight facelift using CR parts. Or the Firbolt getting a 1125R facelift. It would certainly be an overdue cure for the melting headlights, and they're about due for a style freshening anyway. ~SM |

yea but I find it hard to believe that they would use the same front end between 2 different model. It would be like putting the corvette nose on the front of the new camaro |

"they're about due for a style freshening anyway" As long as the fresh look is backwards compatible it would be a cool thing to see. I don't own one, but I imagine a lot of XB owners would complain about any serious changes that ruin the parts compatibility that has been running for 6 years now. |

...change away, I say. I love the lines of my '03 Firebolt. Sexy, aggressive, naked. Make it a collector's item by changing them! |

So now they're coming from the factory with the belt already gone! Now you don't have to go back and look for it on the side of the road. How thoughtfull of buell to do the legwork for us, & cut right to the chase. Unless of course, this is the latest & greatest 19th revision of the belt. Dubbed: the goodyear Invisibletech-hybrex-super-duper-pretty-sure-we-go t-it-right-this-time belt. |
