I wanted to get some input on this Uly fender eliminator kit. It relocates the seat lock to the left side of the bike, just above and right to the helmet lock. What do you think? All of the original lighting bolts back on...ie. turn signals and license plate light.

I made it, with the help of a genius Russian guy at the family welding shop. I wanted to mount the key under the bike, like a kit going on the Uly thread, and the first thing he said in a thick accent, "You gonna get road grit all in the lock and it's gonna break real quick." We used the fender mounting hole as a diagram for the aluminum on the side and the lock mounted perfectly. Of course, I couldn't have done it without my friend and his metal skills. I'm thinking about making a few to sell if there is an interest. Anything I can do to promote Uly's and create sweet trick sport bike mods. |
