Author Message   Saratoga Posted on Thursday, March 05, 2009 - 09:09 am:        I had to take the flyscreen off my 09 Ss last night to plug the parking lamp that had fallen out back into my headlight housing. I noticed there was a connector with a dummy end plugged into it. There are two wires in it; an orange and black. Is this for the heated handgrips or something? I'm looking to wire in an aux socket to plug my GPS into.   Froggy Posted on Thursday, March 05, 2009 - 10:35 am:        Yep that sounds like the Aux connector for the Buell heated grips. I'll check it with the DVM to make sure it's got power.   Akbuell Posted on Thursday, March 05, 2009 - 03:36 pm:        Re the DVM check: I thought I had a bad relay when I checked the acc plug under the flyscreen on my '08TT, because I had no volts when turning the ignition on. If you have no power, try starting the bike. That's what worked on mine. Couldn't read a wiring diagram like I thought.
