I don't see why it wouldn't be. you would just have to mount the exhaust servo on the plastic plate. on which the filter sits. |

A little velcro and mount it to the open airbox lid |

I finished with the open airbox, breather reroute, servo relocate, and i put in new "pro-series" plugs. I am nervous that it could be too lean for the stock ecm... Anyone know if it will be ok? |

The motor's only gonna use as much air as it actually needs, and in conjunction with a stock exhaust, demand for air is not gonna be sizeably increased. Your OEM ECM can adapt to a change that small. To be frank, on an otherwise stock bike, you won't gain much more than intake noise from an open airbox. The later-year-model XB12 boxes are very well ventilated, certainly for an entirely stock bike. Just my $0.02. |

Yea...I agree. Was talking to Andrew, I think his name was, from AMERICANSPORTBIKE.com and he said the same thing. The 07's and earlier have decently well ventilated airboxes. The open airbox mod is more for the 06's and later. A K&N filter with the breather reroute will give you the little more Umph you're looking for on a stock ECM. |

It is Al, not Andrew. |

Ironhead, this I know, if you're running an aftermarket pipe with the open airbox you will run lean. |
