After 6 years of Buell ownership, I am selling her.  My life has changed with 2 young kids and little time to ride. I commute to work, but now ride my VFR for that as it makes a 45 degree morning a little easier for 48 miles one way. I'm really sad to see her go. I've owned her longer than any other bike (twice as long as the next closest) and she is probably my favorite of the 15+ bikes I've owned (RC51, VFR's, Ducati 748 among them). The Buell was always ready to play whether it be a trip to the store, a hunt for a twisty road or the 1 track day I did on her (she was awesome!!!!much better than I was expecting). I was keeping her for track days, but never do them between t-ball, swim lessons, karate, dirt biking, and camping all w/my wonderful wife and kids. The only time I ride is to work and the VFR is a better mount for that. I only put 750 miles on her between the last two seasons and that is mostly so she didn't get too neglected.......sad, I know . I will really miss looking at her in the garage. I would leave the cover off her just to see her sitting on her race stands when I was in the garage. She has been a great partner in many apex seeking adventures and she NEVER let me down . I want to say Thank You to all who helped me with mod questions and ideas. Eric, if you read this board, your bike kicks ass!  You guys are absolutely awesome and this is without question the best motorcycle board I've been associated with (ZRX, RC51, Ducati, VFR, etc.)! I really appreciate it. A special thanks to Keith at DarkHorse Moto for his great products and good conversations. You're a true innovator and I wish you success. I pray you all ride safe and have many exciting adventures on your steeds. Thank you Mark Roberts XB9SRIDER  Never Give Up! PS. I test rode an 1125CR last fall. It will tempt me. That thing was a blast. I shall try to resist. Eric builds fun bikes though. I ain't changing my name. It's cool. | ||
