Just bring the old oil and filter to where you have your cars oil changed. Also make sure you lube the seal on the filter when you put it on. It will make for proper seal and easy removal for next time. |

Hey Sloppy, Do you really think that I would drive all the way to the Beautifull jersey Shore and toss my used oil filter in the Atlantic ? Without taking all of my house trash and heaving that too ? As for dumping oil on the ground...guess where it comes from ? Ahhh the circle of life. |

The only thing I've found regrettable about throwing an oil filter in the river is that my dog tends to jump in and fetch it. |

http://www.recycleoil.org/ This site is very helpful. It has a search engine where you plug in your zip code and it will tell you the nearest oil recycling center. |
