How is the amber XB12R badge attached to the upper triple clamp? How do I remove it and whats underneath? |

Dunno, but I think I recall some torque values being important. Find out before you start wrenching lest you crack it. |

It's a sticker, very tough double-sided tape. Heat resistant too, if you remove it, get another one, you will destroy it. The part # for the 2004-2005 is M0675.1AA, $4 from chicago harley dot com. |

I changed mine out a few years ago due to my house key battering the badge. Very easy to change, and a great idea. |

So I can heat the area with a heat gun then pull or pry the badge off? I was thinking about going badgeless, "We don't need no stink'n badges". |
