Do any of our sponsors carry either ebc or lyndel (sp)?? and which do you prefer. I know trojan carries some but after i pay for shipping id rather get something this side of the pond (no offense trojan you guys have nice stuff). lol in other words when you got pads whered ya buy em from. Moderators im not trying to start a war of where to buy them but most dealers only carry stock stuff and im curious which ones i should start calling around to. Thanks again. Brian |

American Sport Bike carries Lyndall's. There are mostly good reviews from others here that use them. I have a set of the "gold" Lyndall pads; they are just going on so I don't have an opinion of them myself. |

American Sport Bike has a few different choices including the Lyndall and EBC pads. |

I have Lyndall Gold+ on my front and i love them. They dont have a big initial bite which i like about them. and they progress smoothly as you apply more brake. Great if you are a casual rider, not if your a racer. |

Lyndall Gold are very progressive and when pushed hard they never have faded on me. I just about ready for another set and I wanted to try the EBC. I don't think I would ever go back to stock, way to much initial bite and no progression, it also had the horrible deposits on the rotor problem |

I've used Lyndalls on my XB12Ss and would never go back to the OEMs. Al Lighton advised that the Lyndalls were better for street riders, but for track use the EBCs were better. |

So what is the difference between the Lyndalls and the EBCs and syock? I'm talking characteristics |

Stock = SUCK. Strong initial bite, will fade under repeated hard use, leaves a deposit on your rotor that in time causes sufficient pulsing to make you believe you've warped your rotor. Lyndall = Not as hard initial bite, but more solid, progressive feel. Will fade under repeated hard use. Cleans off the gunk left behind by the stock pads with use. EBC = I've no experience with these. I'll have to let someone else chime in with their experience. |

I dont know about the rest of you that use Lyndall, but mine HATE the rain. Every time they get wet, i lose a lot of braking power. dont know if that's just mine or all of them thought. |

Yes I have noticed that they take a little bit to dry off in the rain. I am running hawk pads in my truck and they suffer from the same symptom. But honestly in the rain do you really want that much brake |
