I am trying to decide on one of these levers. The ASV C5 short or the Pazzo short levers. Which levers do you prefer and why? | ||

Pazzo, because I have them. :-p I have no experience with ASV levers, but love the Pazzos that I have- look good, work great, the adjustability is wonderful- I will not own a bike ever again without adjustable levers. | ||

Hey what about CRG Roll-A-Click levers?  Really, almost any after market lever is gonna be a big improvement and you can go wrong with any of these. | ||

With the after market levers does it come with just the lever or does it come with the whole setup handlebar clamps nuts&bolts. | ||

I think for the most part its just the levers, but if you looked hard enough Im sure you could fine the whole thing. I saw some other (off brand) levers on Ebay that had the whole clamp and levers for like 113.00 just yesterday. They looked decent but seemed to stick out a little weird for me. | ||

Have the Pazzos and love 'em. Just about any possible color combo. But, like Zoe said earlier, almost any aftermarket adj. lever is going to be a marked improvement and will instill a little confidence also since you adjust the lever to fit you - not the other way around. | ||

But does the pazzos come with everything or just the levers and u used the old brackets? | ||

It comes with the adjusting portion incoorperated into the levers themselves. You use the old bar mounts. Just take one bolt out of the brake side; one bolt & clutch cable out of the clutch side - and install the new levers. Very Simple. | ||

Adjust your clutch (half way down the cable) so you have slack. Dont try to force it off with pliers or anything. I've seen people actually try that. Then just re-adjust it so you have a gap thats stated in the manual. Or make marks on the adjuster with a sharpie and put the nuts back where they were. | ||

Well I had the dealership call me a month ago and said there's a recall on the 08's clutch cable so I guess I'll get the levers when I get the cable done. | ||

My buddy bought some "off brand" levers for his GXSR on ebay. He was traveling down the high way and went to use his brakes and the lever stuck on him. He is lucky to be alive so it makes me alittle nervous to buy anything but stock. | ||

That's what they told me that the stock cable could snap so they gonna replace it with a heavier one don't really remember like I said it was over a month ago and I have till may to replace it or it's gonna cost me to replace it. | ||

I could see problems with 'off brand" levers. Companies like CRG, Pazzo, ASV, LSL, Sato..etc. are proven companies. I would not think twice about purchasing products from them. Its names like "Super Duper race lever" that would concern me. I think that goes for most anything you buy. In most cases when you buy those brand names your spending plenty hard earned money for their products, and for me thats fine. I always keep in mind that when I do spend that kind of money, that Im getting exactly the quality precision product I expect from them. If they do me wrong, I never buy from them again. | ||

Yeah, I got a pair of the Pazzo levers for my XB12Scg and love them. They feel more supple than the stock levers. Just got a used Uly over the weekend and the 1st thing I did was order a pair of Pazzo levers for it. Simply put, they just make that big of a difference over stock. I agree, any reputable/adjustable replacement would work. Got first had recommendation from a guy I know who has them on his 1125R. They felt 100 times better than my stock ones...ordered them when I got home from that ride and now I'm waiting on another set for my new Uly. | ||

Those ASV levers are supposedly made here in the states and is guaranteed for ever. As in if you crash and break it they will fix or replace the lever...for ever. | ||

If I were to put any fancy levers on my bike it would be the ASV's. USA made, awesome guarantee, obvious choice for me. |
