You mean the thread? Those bolts use SAE threads. Either 5/16-18 or 1/4-20. |

definately not 1/4-20. Maybe even 3/8-16, they're quite beefy. |

Pull one out and take it with you to the hardware store. I think the ones you need are like 3/8". |

What's a registration plate? Or did you mean license plate? I know if I put my plate down there, i'd get hassled by the police. |

I think those bolts are recessed into the swingarm. If this is the case I would recommend using a spacer or a stack of shim washers to make sure that the caliper mounting bolts are tight to something solid not just air. |

Those are definitely common threads, I replaced mine with black anodized ones. Don't get the black ones as they quickly oxidize. |

Thanks you all for the answers, i'll first go to the hardware store and hopping to get the screws, otherwise i'll ask you for some more solutions... |

Oh that's your problem, Europe. Well then I guess you can send a fellow Badwebber some cash to get you them from the States, that would be expensive though. You should be able to find/order the correct bolts with American threads in Europe, I'm surprised that you can't. I don't have a problem finding/ordering what I need in Ireland. It is a problem finding American/standard threads in Asia. Your other alternative is to drill/tap out the bracket for the brake caliper to fit a metric bolt. |

I would check the markings on the bolts as I think they are grade "5" or "8". I would certainly check about the shimming under the head as these are brake mounts. |
