So I was thinking about replacing my banjo bolts with Speed Bleeder bolts to make bleeding my brakes that much easier. But what size Speed Bleeders do I need? If anyone has used these let me know.. I've got an '04 XB12R. Or just a banjo that works better than the stock ones, they are crap that seem to leak air even if tefloned. |

I believe you are looking for bleed valves, not banjo bolts. Banjo bolts are the ones that connect the brake hose to the caliper and master cylinder. As to the size, I would shoot Speed Bleeder an email (speedbleeder@earthlink.net). I have had good dealings with them in the past. |

Your right... Bleeder valve it is. My bad. Thanks for the input and correction though. |

Speed Bleeder's from LSL (http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/bleederacc.cfm). The bleeder spec for the front caliper is M8x1.25 Part# SB8125. The brembo rear caliper on my bike has a different spec m10x1.0 Part# SB1010s. Check your rear caliper, it may be the same as the front. |
