I can't imagine wanting my bike to be any louder than it is right now with my Special Ops, I get pretty embarrassed when I set off all the car alarms in the church parking lot on Sunday mornings. So, before you go looking for the loudest pipe there is, have a listen to a special ops or a drummer. |

well i drove up there over 2 hrs and to find out the idiots who detailed the bike for the guy Im getting it off of fouled the plugs somehow, so I left and a week later i emailed him asking him what happened and he said he changed the plugs and its running like a champ ..I low balled him $3500 from his $3995 price and a day later he reluctantly took the offer, I'm going this Friday to pick it up what do you guys think???? looks like the jardine muffler is what I'm gonna use, will i need to but the ecm-spy to reset my tps or whatever it is you do with it so i dont have problems after installing it...also is it hard to install ? I own 3 hot rides and do all the engine work myself, i have been reading about a exhaust valve in the xb12`s is that a pain in the ass? |

Installing a pipe is easy. You do not need a TPS reset, but it would be good to do anyway. You will need to disconnect the servo cable from the pipe, no biggie, just tie it up and away. It is a bitch to put back in after removal, so your best bet is to just tie it up and forget about it. Everything is in the service manual. |
