Pretty pricey too. But, when you don't have the facilities or the talent; it really is a bargain... That said: I shall wait to see how "it" holds up over time/miles. What concerns me is the front mount. It would be a bummer to purchase such a system only to have "it", or the header, crack. | ||

in my opinion, the after market systems sound all more or less the same, since they all have the same shape. the only system i found completely different in sound is the Force for tubers. i have it on my S1 and his conical shape gives it a loud metallic sound, like a Dyna!!! and performance wise, is the only one that gave me a big improvement, i noticed the difference when i switched from V&H with race headers to the complete Force exhaust! the XB systems are all very similar in sound, but i've seen a bad ass system on Trojan Horse, very pricey, but complete of headers that might be a step up of the others. its name is Blaster V and this is the complete system on the bike...  anybody knows more info about this exhaust? | ||

I'm thinking about making one of my own out of the 11148 Magnaflow. Does anyone know how it compares to the Jardine pipe? I already have the Jardine, but I would like to find something with a deeper tone without going all out for a drummer. Money is tight and I want to keep my stocker for if I ever wanted to go back. | ||

How about slapping a "Cherry-Bomb" on there ? Anyone tried it ? | ||

Yes a lot of work, as I repackaged the 'bomb' in the original housing. You can hear the different but only the most astute eye can see the can was modded.  |
