Question?

I want to get the special ops exhaust for my Uly?

The girlfriend & I tour on this bike often & use a bluetooth intercom.

I also commute in DC traffic, & want the noise from the exhaust as on my previous bikes, but I know just how loud Buells can be?

Thoughts from those who use the bike, is this exhaust going to be too loud?

I am sure it sounds great & I am not opposed to a nice loud exhaust, just trying to get some feedback on long range touring & intercom use ; )

Anything from anyone would be great :-D

No matter what I am going to get the exhaust powder coated, I am sick of the rust :-D

The only way I can explain it is you can hear the exhaust over the wind noise at 70 mph... but it is not, in my opinion, loud enough to be bothersome- it just sounds damn good.

I have no experience with intercom systems.

I run the Ops pipe and have the Bluetooth setup for phone and GPS. I also wear custom earplugs which cuts down on the pipe's sound, but I wear them mostly for wind noise. I listen to the radio, talk on the phone, and listen to my gps honey with no problem at all. As a matter of fact, I need to turn down the Bluetooth so it doesn't blow out my ears. BTW, I run a Scala Rider setup. I don't know how loud other setups are. Good Luck and Happy New Year.

Thanks everyone

We are using the Nolan N-com set ups. Its not bad at all, but on the open interstate at speed its a little difficult to hear her, but she is quiet ; )

I love a loud pipe for city commuting, just to let them know where you are, but its a touring bike also. Why do our beloved buells have to be so loud no matter what when you swap out the pipes ; )
