Since I ride damn near daily, I won't go that route because of reliability issues. A bolt on kit that doesn't require case boring (1050cc kit for XB9s is the same as the 1250cc kit for the XB12s) would be what I'd do if I needed to rebuild. Then some mild head work. That way I could get 100+RWHP without the fear of reliability issues. |

For me, the 1050 and 1250 kit is enough, Once you start boring cases "I" think you're looking for trouble. I have a 9R with a 1050 and it is noticable. I plan on 1250ing my 12R and 12X when money permits. |

Well 50 ccs 25 per Jug is really not worth the expense unless of course ya needed to freshen up the jugs and pistons anyways... |

It's actually 66cc, so it'd be 1269cc, I guess 1250 sounded better? But your point is well made, that's one reason I threw in the head work. You can get lots of performance on head work alone, but, while you're there... If you're looking for a monster motor, give Pammy & Wes at CycleRama a call. You can not go wrong with those two. Also, if you talk to Wes I'll bet he's already built one or two. |

Thanks Glitch, As far as head work I`M sure I could do them up, its just the ecm work for the 1450 kit... Seems the ECM work alone alot wd. NoT want to do,or bother to give much IF any insight on itself as there is not a big dollar turned over there alone for anyone... Too bad these ecm`s don`t lend themselves to do easy...Maybe I should get an extra frame and CUT a side hole for clearance and get it all tig welded up with supports etc and throw a damn Carb on the side of it No Problem to tune a carb...! |

There's always a PCIII. The one for the X1 will work, they don't make them any longer, but they can still be found. |
