I want to hear from anyone who's running a k&n or buell race filter and a drummer or other pipe. If you have the stock ecm, do you get any pinging? | ||

'06 Uly (I know....wrong board...I promise not to get mud on anything here LOL). Drummer pipe, homemade inner airbox (see DC/VA/MD Storm Front for pics), stock ECM, no ping, no decel pop. | ||

I've had a stock ECM with a K&N in a stock airbox and a Micron exaust on my 03 xb9s since I got it a 600.00mi I was told by a trusted and very good engine builder/tuner that "the stock ECM can unequivocally handle the adjustments needed" to keep the engine happy. I have no pinging! | ||

Many run this combo with stock ECM including myself. Did for thousands of miles before tweaking with ECM SPY. No Issues. | ||

Thanks guys! I'm going to start over with the stock 07 maps and tweak from there. |
