MJ= Model year , sorry about that

Even some dealers are talking that there going to stop producing the xb9 ??

Your match closer to the fire , so let me hear your opinions

It could as well be , a clear the floor sales action ?
I not implying any thing, but thing is if I could choose again, I would go for the xb12
And that most tubers over here were finding the xb9 a” girly bike “,
Are now very interested in the xb12 ,
And I think that a lot off dealers over here still have a 2002/3 xb9 bike waiting for a customer
I think that’s a shame,
Because the 9 is no lesser bike than the 12,
But as they positioned the bike as a sport fighter,
most sport bike riders ( that I know ) only look at the bottom line and see how match hp it makes.

Gr,B

HD is still making a pretty decent little profit off of Buell & so long as that continues then i dont see them dumping the brand anytime soon.

However on your thought process about the XB's being dumped..who knows? hell they dumped the tube frames real fast. I could see the Revo powered bikes causing the current air cooled v-twin bikes to be short lived.

What Buell or HD does in Europe has little to do with U.S.A. operations. Manuf. of just about any product offer some things in one country and none in another. I think buell will be around a long time, XB's?

sure the xb platform is here to stay
one hell off a bike,
but i'm speaking over the model xb 9

hearing rumors, that production off the xb 9
has to make place for growing request for the xb 12

I agree...
I'd hate to see the 9 disappear, but there ya go.
It's not gonna be weather or not those of us that have one like it or not, it's gonna be weather or not they can keep selling them.

Pure simple fact is riders are hooked (right, wrong, or indifferent) on displacement, reviews, horsepower, torque, etc, etc, etc.

1203 cc (73.4 ci) or 984 cc (61.0 ci) it seems to be a huge selling point. 6.2 ci per cylinder seems to draw folks up/out. There are of course other factors in the mind of many buyers -- resale value, staying current, staying 'trendy.'

No one ever mentions that * 99% of the riding public can't capitalize on the bikes potential regardless of the engine size.

* A very subjective opinion based on what I've seen

XB9 will definitely be around. No worries on that my friend... Exchange rate combined with a pricing adjustment have improved the XB9 pricing. A little devaluation in the short run for riders who bought them early, but in the long run it makes Buell in Europe way more viable, which will in the long run increase the value.

Buell sales are dramatically up in Europe this year...nearly 50% in a market that is down 8%! So enjoy your motorcycle; it is getting stronger every day!
