Make it 80 RWHP. As Steviejay01 said some of the spikes are from shifting. If you dump the clutch too fast that's what you get to see. |

You should have gotten just a single gear run. From what I've heard there the most accurate. |

Stevie, Cool web site. Some comments... "BHP" means "Brake HP". Your test was run on an inertial dynomometer. It isn't reporting BHP. The common way to refer to the results of your dyno testing would be RWHP, which simply means "rear wheel HP". The torque reported is not at the rear wheel. It is referenced to the rear wheel, which means it is the torque at the crankshaft that corresponds to the HP at the rear wheel and the rpm of the engine. So it is actually the torque at the crankshaft less drivetrain inefficiencies between crankshaft and the rear wheel. The torque at your rear wheel is MUCH higher due to the various gear reductions; the lower the gear, the higher the torque at the rear wheel. More confused than when I started? heheheh Ask Aaron, he explains stuff better. |

80RWHP sounds about right. Race kitted XB9R? Same as mine, various dyno runs have put it anywhere from 77-83RWHP and 58-67ft/lbs. I'll get it done again in summer when I've got my XB12 airbox vs my hohme-made Force and the drummer in place of the race can. Nice, though! |
