Well, I'm getting ready and saving up to get a complete paint job on my bike (black with orange flames), and blacking out everything else on bike via powdercoating. What I'm curious about is how wide/big the front of the bike looks with the stock/longer mirrors! Especially with the cover on, it looks huge, like a pissed off insect. The Rizoma mirrors are expensive, but slimmer. The 1125R mirors and Speedzilla 1125R clones look good to, but they look about the same length as the stock XBR mirrors. Maybe the full fairing I have is bigger than stock, although they look similar. What do ya'll think? I think the front end looks too bloated/big/wide because of the mirrors.

The only thing I envy about the Jap bikes is that they look soe much more streamlined and slim than our bikes.

The view is OK and they shake just as much as the stockers but look 1000 times better.

The price will make a grown man cry as with all Rizoma parts.

Im partial to the 1125 mirrors for obvious reasons.....

if you get the 1125 mirrors you will need to drill off the head of the revit holding the base to the stalk and replace it with a bolt.It doesnt shake/vibrate at all and stays where you want them. Also you dont need extenders if you do the mod as when the are bolted they stay put.

You know what I think, I think the windscreen might be bigger than stock. it looks like the "double bubble" style. I'll be getting the orange/amber one when I reapint everything next seaosn, maybe that will help.

I've looked at it and figured out its my fairing thats big. Its much bigger than the stock fairing. Since I don't wanna go back to the naked look, no offense all its awesome but I like the full fairing look. I've been looking at these fairings http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/buell/XB9R-XB1 2R2002-05.htm

Pricey, but I figured I could get a good amount for the one peice fairing I have now. Its just too big and not sleek looking. What do yall think?

Its too big. The front is too wide, the windscreen too tall. I want a more "streamline" look, and the Aerotech fairings look like it. Plus there 3 peices, which is easier to deal with than one large peice. I know there expensive but maybe I can get something back for the old fairing once I get it fixed from the hit and run.
