got my wheels back from the powder coater today and they are nothing short of spectacular. the new color doesn't come thru very well in the pics, they are a very slight metallic. big change from the old black!
by the way "slicker" if you need some high res of these to get freaky with i can hook you up, sorry no mud on em! |

free of charge. dealer mangled my wheels during a tire change a few months back, and they offered me a strip and coat in the color of my choice to make good. |

is that a Buell color? looks very similar to the volcano orange I've seen on some M2 frames. Looks great! |

They look really good Shawn. I've always wanted to see an xb with orange wheels. |

Should of done the sprocket while you were at it i considered it but wanted to keep the sprocket black to break things up, i may coat the sprocket bolts though. |

Make sure those bearings are correct. Black ones vs orange. |

Make sure those bearings are correct. Black ones vs orange. I just bought a brand new wheel and it has black bearings in it. Also I'm seeing Black bearing in brand new bikes on the floor. (Message edited by bads1 on November 15, 2008) |

yeah Hammer the new bearings are the black seal. i was curious which ones the dealer would put in and sure enough there they are. i never had any trouble with the red seals (other than they were rusty) so i guess we'll see how these ones hold up. popping the wheels back on later so i'll throw some pics up in a bit. |

Been a while since I've needed any and had no idea they went back to a black color, just making sure. Oh and they look good. |
