Is that the pipe in the video? |

Yes. But it is on xopti's bike. He is currently testing it and developing a fuel map for it. It will most likely be seeing some track time and possibly dyno time to find the true potential of this muffler mod. |

I like the idea of that pipe, but the 2008 ECM doesn't |

My '08 likes my Special Ops just fine... shouldn't have a problem with this one. I am very keen on hearing the results for this design- seems like solid engineering theory and execution. Keep us posted. |

Is twin/Dual loop the Idea there... Supposedly give you good top end with out sacrificing the bottom..

Sure, it pops occasionally on decel, but that's not uncommon even on stock bikes- you just hear it better with the sound chamber removed. Some like the "popping", some don't... it doesn't bother me. The significantly improved sound far outweighs any popping that may occur off-throttle. |

The youtube video? What makes you say it needs gas? |

I had Opti's bike with this can installed on the track yesterday. It ran good, no decel popping whatsoever. It did feel like it needed more fuel, but I should note the ecm has not been mapped yet. Pipe should do fine for the street. |

Thank you for the positive feedback Paint_shaker. Needing fuel is a good sign. That means the muffler is flowing more than the stock one. More flow means more go! Glad to hear things went good at the track. (Message edited by tattoo72 on November 16, 2008) |

Fuel lamp was on. Mileage had just started so you could have run for a little while longer. Just something I noticed. See, I paid attention to your video. (Message edited by Iamarchangel on November 16, 2008) |

That's funny. I never noticed that in the video. I'm usually good for picking up on stuff like that. |

Voodoo can on an XB9S vs Spec Ops can on an XB12R. Roll on from 3000 RPM in 3rd gear. The 9 will hang with the 12 up to about 5500 RPM. The 12 then begins to ease ahead. Mike is still working on the map though. The Voodoo does have a little bit of a raspy sound to it, but it is definately quieter than the Spec Ops can. |

Sounds excellent. Any feedback on the midrange on a 12 with it installed? |

Thanks. I plan on getting a drive by video soon. So people can get a true interpretation of what it sounds like. |
