Well it wasn't me. I would rather take hwy 100 to get to lake city, plus i'd have to ride into Gainesville to pick up 75. Was it a good turn out? | ||

not a good turn out, due to the weather...it was sprinkling rain... i took the uly instead of the roadking, as its a lot easier to clean the uly.. im thinking about moving to palm coast, as ive always liked the daytona area... i just got back from house hunting...finding a rental when you have pets isnt easy... | ||

Got an '08 XB12R in Orlando, don't see many Buells except for the 3 or 4 that ride into MMI. I am down to ride any weekend, check the forum daily so if there's any gonna be a ride be sure to post. | ||

$5 to get on the premises. If driving- bring a chair, umbrella/canopy, cooler, sunglasses/sunscreen, camera, and layer clothing for cold morning/warm afternoon. If riding- access roads are dirt (but decent shape), bring sun protection, camera, layered clothes, and sport Buell colors! Bring extra $$ if you want to eat (burgers aren't bad), there's a parts/accessory shop, and a gift shop with some nice logo stickers and t-shirts. Wish I could make it, but I'll be prepping the XB for my track day on the 22nd. | ||

come up to suwannee county and try hogan road....then pick up cr250 in wellborn toward lake city... there are a few decent riding roads here, other than being one of the most boring places on the planet... im taking donations to help me move to a more interesting place, paypal is accepted... | ||

Despite the rain, Jennings was fun. Rained on an off through out the night. Woke up to cloudy, threatening skies but the track was starting to dry. Then it rained during the rider's meeting. SO we had a wet track. But it slowly began to dry and was mostly dry for the last session before lunch. So I took OptiMike's bike out for spin around the track. After lunch, the track was still dry and the skies appeared to be clearing. I had my best run of the day!! Then, just for good measure, Mom Nature had to throw one last shower in..., so the track remained wet for the rest of the afternoon. But, I did get to work on the race line and I got to put a session in on an 1125r!!! About halfway through the last intermediate session, they let the novice group join in. We had all four Buells on the track at the same time. Also during the last session the sky decided to clear and the sun showed itself with promises of a bright sunny Sunday... Tempting as it was to stay for another track day, we packed up the rodeo and departed. All in all it was still a good day. Nobody went down and as far as I know there were no red flags. Rockledge here. Probably a bit older (44) and a whole lot slower,  but I am out there. I have always been a HD rider and bought my Buell in June '08. There is sooooooo much I don't know. I was commuting to Orlando up Rt 520 right near UCF but that's come to a close now. I was racking the miles and sadly haven't been lately. Although I can't commit to any regular meets I would like to catch up to a group sometime. |
