Can I put on the CR front/rear sproket on my NineR? Will it bolt up? Will I have clearance issues? Is I crazy?

Rear, yes (but I am not sure about the belt pitch you may want to check) front, realllly doubt it... |

So you want your sprocket size to match your wheel huh. |

The rear will bolt up for sure, not sure about the front, but then you will have to get a belt for it, no clue what size you would need. |

Belt length will be critical... doubt that you will be that lucky. |

Heck, I'd take a tailor's measuring tape (fabric tape) - and just go and measure directly. The fabric tape will go under the idler roller. I'd be that if they use the same belt, you would be able to measure it and not see a difference... if they use a different length, it'd show right up. If you had a parts counter that would work with you, you could get the parts books for both bikes and look up the belt... see if it is same part number? |

Ah, part #s. thats the trick. Now will it clear my 03 swing arm? or should i bite the bullet and get a nasty/noisy chain. |

From what I have read, the 1125R and CR have different belts, swingarms, and rear pulleys. To be honest, the easiest route would be a chain and a sprocket the size of a DirectTV dish. |

The belt off the 1125 is now standard for all XB's, I heard. If this is the case, changing sprocket size will mess you up unless you use both sprockets. |

I don't think the actual 1125 belt is used on all XB's, it just whatever changes they made the construction to make it hold up to the 1125's increased horsepower are now incorporated in all XB belts. |

"The belt off the 1125 is now standard for all XB's, I heard. If this is the case, changing sprocket size will mess you up unless you use both sprockets." Not necessarily because of the length of the swingarms of the 1125's vs. XB's. I wouldn't think they'd be the same length? Interesting tho. (Message edited by duff24 on November 12, 2008) |

The 1125R and CR belts have more teeth than the Uly belt, which has more teeth than the 52" wheelbase XB belt. Nobody cares about the blast. |

Why the hell did they make the 1125 pulleys so freakin huge?? I like the look of the smaller sprockets to keep the wheel more open. |

Either that or change the gearing in the primary/transmission. I am sure they had their reason. |

Duff24, smaller radius or sprockets shorten the service life of the belt. Barker, toys in the attic better than someone that's not you being in there |
