just talked to Force. She said they should have the final done next week and they want to test it for a month before sending any more out. She said it was completly re-designed. maybe thats re-re-designed. 2.0 might have broke thats why its been so long

Misato I have all of the stock stuff, might could work something out with you if your in a pinch? what are they charging you for R&R of the exhaust? may-be cost prohibitive for a short term fix..... |

any dealer types out there want to comment on the flag hours for exhaust replacement? It took me 8 hours drinking plenty of fluids in the garage late at night and in no hurry. I am curious how long it takes a pro. |

I'm ok for now. thanks though. I'm not getting charged for it because they had to take it off to change the cam cover gasket. I called the dealer and they said they didn't care if it sits there another month. it took me about 4-5hrs, I didn't drop the motor to do it..

Exhaust replacement, it took me about 6 hours with the fluids, in no hurry. That included loosing the rear wheel. When I installed the clamps – with the Drummer -, I insured I that loosening it next time will be much shorter. Move the rear clamp access clamp bolts 180 degrees. Next time, if there is a next time, it will be without loosening the rear wheel. |

Exhaust R&R took me about an hour in my driveway. I am not sure if you are talking about something more, but a swivel adapter and a swivel ratchet and it was a piece of cake to loosen the clamps without removing the rear wheel. Of course it means nothing now that its freezing outside. Time to get MotoGP2 for Xbox. |

I forgot, I had a little extra effort involved as I was also pulling the rear head and cyl. That alone probably added a few hours (intake manifold and assorted brackets and hardware for the motor). but I am still curious what a dealer charges for this. |

I was doing the header also, not just the can. plus drilling holes in the pipe for the baffle. |
