i've run the jardine rt-1 carbon fiber on my '06 cityX for about 7000 mi. now and just a few minutes ago i took it off for the first time and figured i'd share what i found. with a wipe down the pipe looks as good as new! there is absolutely no packing left inside of it as i expected but the shell, inlet, and outlet caps and all rivets are as tight and sealed as the day i purchased it.

i know there are a lot of problems with the aluminum version of this pipe so i thought i'd pass on the fact that as of now the CF version seems to not have the common problems of the other.

That is nice to know. I keep thinking that a titanium Jardine with the quiet insert might give me the results that I am after. Now I can add the carbon fiber version to give me more to think about.

I have the CF version too and a couple thousand miles on it and still looking awesome. I'm surprised there was no packing left in yours, I should probably repack mine soon. What is the recommended mileage?
