TPS, AFV and O2 sensor will NOT throw a code. Sorry but I had a code for TPS once, I didn't know it but when I told the dealer about my check engine light he hooked it up[ and sure enough it was TPS. |

Js, the problems you describe are identical to what my bike was doing. Dealer told me that one of the injectors was stuck open, so the O2 sensor was fighting it by trying to lean the motor out at the same time. This resulted in a 5-second idle, followed by some popping and sputtering, then it would die. The dealer had to pick it up - it wouldn't even run. |

If it has been running poorly and they replace the temp sensor, make sure they put new plugs in it to. Once they have fouled they never seem to be the same, even if cleaned properly. |

I got my bike back now and it run alot better so far. They changed my engine temp sensor and adjusted the AFV. I'm not going to say it's fixed completely since the last time I did it started to run like crap not to long after but it's a very good improvement. |
