Is there any tank bag besides the two that Buell offers that fit well? I actually want one that is smaller. I need one with a map holder and only big enough to fit my pistol and wallet. Does anyone know of such an animal? later, Bart |

I have one that I'll sell ya. Bought it for my bike but it's too small for my liking. PM me and I'll send ya some pictures when I get home. Should be home in a few days. |

Oh I think it's a Joe Rocket tank bag. I'll sell it to ya for what I paid for it. I think it was like 35 bucks. |

Heres a tip for you, if you want to use a magnetic bag, you can glue magnets on the underside of the airbox cover so the bag will stay on. |

Just looked at a picture of it, no map holder. It's a Joe Rocket Manta tank bag btw. |

I have the Tour Master Cortech Super Mini Tank Bag with the strap mounting system and really like it. It's amazing how much stuff I can cram in there. Keith |

Dang it. I was hoping, thank you though. Has anyone used the Cortech Super Mini on a Firebolt? http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?produc tid=142&cat=31 |

My brother has this ('08 City-X): http://denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product. jsp?skuId=&store=Main&catId=&productId=p505676&lea fCatId=&mmyId= Love it- MUCH better quality than the icon bag I had with my sport bikes. I like the gluing the magnets idea! I may have to try that, since I HATE the straps...especially after years of using magnetic bags. (Message edited by andymnelson on October 15, 2008) |

This is the bag I have. Rapid Transit Bradley Strap Mount Tank Bag I had to fold under the front flap, but I am very happy with it thus far. |

I can vouch for the rapid transit bradley one. I have one I use on my firebolt. If I can remember, I will post up some pics of it on the bike tonight. My Profile picture was taken with it on it as well, hard to see though. Works great for me. Holds a few bottles of water, crackers, keys, wallet, cellphone, and camera. |

Randomchaos: what do you secure the rear strap to on your Firebolt? thank you, Bart |

Might seem a little odd/funny how I secure the rear strap, but I have it wrapped around the rubber strap that holds the battery in. When I am on the bike, the seat presses down tightly on the strap anyways. I used this tankbag for a 3 day trip out in East TN. Never had any issues with it. You arent able to get into a full tuck with it on though. If you hang off the side of the bike as well, it feels a little odd at first. I got used to lightly resting my outside arm on it though |
