I'm about to buy some LED rear turn signals, and I'm wondering if I can use the American Sportbike LED turn signal relay if my front signals are still stock bulbs? Is this relay designed for low current draw only, or can I mix and match? I ultimately plan on changing the front out as well, but there's a whole other project that's got to come first (Firebolt fairing with 1125R signal mirrors). With the skies getting darker earlier, I'd really like to rig up some new rear running light/turn signals before tackling the fairing. EDIT: Blake, for the love of God, turn off that automatic link to Al's site! We all know that's the place to go, and we can find it without BadWeb holding our hand. We can't even use the abbreviation without screwin' up the post titles! ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on October 11, 2008) |

FWIW, title took me to American Sport Bike first. Second try got me the thread. Don't know if it's a "love of God" type problem but it's something to think about. ps I just used the initials in this post but the whole name is showing up. |

I like the hyperlink. It's annoying in thread titles, but I'd rather just space out A S B instead of him getting rid of the automatic hyperlink. Oh, and the mechanical flasher will work with any signals in any configuration. |

Thanks Mike. That's what I needed to know. Iamarchangel, that's what I was complaining about... I used the abbreviation in my thread title as well, and it still screwed it up. If you click on the first "Can I use" in the title and it'll work right. Just seems like overkill to have that in effect. I guess Al must pay for that, like an advertisement or something. ~SM |
