Has any one put a pair of bar risers on 9\12r?
Having had neck surgery fused c-3-4 and c-5-6 I can only ride for about 40 min with lower bars

thanks
nate

Nate,

Tat at American Sport Bike has just what you need; an upper triple clamp that moves the bars up 1" and back 1 1/2". It works very well.

What about just using the top yoke
(upper triple clamp to you lot) off an XB9/12S ???

Squiz13, How easy was it to use the X1 header on your S1W? I've put a fuel injected X1 motor in our S1 chassis for our track bike. Had to weld in the 02 sensor in our Buell Pro-Series race header which is no longer available from Buell. Next time it slides on the right side, I'm screwed.

If you put Lighting bars on a Firebolt you'll probably pinch your fingers on the fairing or your controls. I haven't done this, but I think it's been tried.

Gootch,
After hitting a cage with my S1 And not being satisfied with the replacement frame Buell sent me I ended up using a year 2000 cyclone front loop and welded my original S1 seat loop to it.
Hence the Later type headers.
I also made another version of that frame with an X1 bottom rails and top rails off an S1 that had the extra advantage of the removable plate for quick belt changes while retaining the looks of the S1 ;)
Lot of work but worth it I think ;)

Thanks Squiz13, that's one sharp Buell, I'll have to show ya our shop race S1, it's all matt black with lots of billet. All your handy work looks like it paid off. Anytime you get out to Vancouver BC Canada, I'll have a demo here for you.

Thanks, Stuart Wells, manager of Deeley's House of Buell.
