O.K. got my TPS reset no prob, but, I cannot get the AFV to reset. I go to the Active Settings screen and click on the AFV&IAC tab and perform the re-set. It says Re-Set. I then go to the meters screen and create a bar for the AFV and it shows 84.7 even after the reset. I had no options to choose what to re-set it to. Also the TPS % open after the re-set is 6.7%. Is that o.k.? Any help would be greatly appreciated....Kenny

6.7 is kinda high.
What is your TPS setting in degrees?

Don't worry about resetting AFV. It will reset itelf after a moderately paced ride.

The bike isn't with me, I'll check it out in degrees when I get back over to it. Thanks....Kenny

OK - for TPS reset, are you unscrewing the idle adjustment ALL THE WAY and then snapping the throttle shut a few times BEFORE re-zeroing? With the butterfly totally closed (at ZERO), you will usually feel it "stick" when you open it again with the throttle. It has to "know" where actual zero is BEFORE you use the adjust screw to set the idle back up.

Got the slight sticking in the throttle body before the reset. With the recommended starting point the idle was at 850 rpm. It took 6.7% to achieve + - 1100 rpm. This is with the stock ecm. I have the race ecm coming tomorrow and will try again on it. I was using the stock ecm as a guinea pig. I can't find the option to reset the AFV to a desired % with the VDSTS software. The only option I can get is just to reset AFV. After resetting and opening up a bar for the AFV it still reads 84%. What am I missing here? I also got an engine trouble pop up after I started the bike, but, no codes would show up in the boxes????

The engine trouble pop up is a bug in the software. Happens often.

What Jos51700 said about the AFV is right. After a 10 mile run while maintaining your RPM above 3500, the AFV will be set or re-learned.
