Guys For your info, I managed to pick up a LED tailight bulb with 18 LEDS facing out, 6 on the reverse, on EBay for GBP10 incl postage to Oz. I like the item - nice and bright and no mods required. Price is pretty good to. Got it from ACEPARTS.COM, but check Ebay for better prices than their website! Just gotta find a clear tail light lens now........... | ||

OK, I just get lost when trying to upgrade the tail and headlights on the XB. I would really like to obtain some headlamps that are blue in tint and a LED set for the rear as you described above. I tried the website you recommended and got no listing as to their products. Was the part number GBP10? I have an R, so the S headlamps are different. I to would be in the market for a clear tailight lens, but have only seen them marketed in a set replacing the underneath rear cowling. I am on a mission also, Keith | ||

I bought two rear lenses from claussstudios.com. 1 light blue tint and 1 smoke tint. I like the smoke one better. good price and fast turnaround. He can make any color you want. | ||

Kaese The GBP10 i mentioned is Great Britain Pounds, 10 of. I have headlight bulbs in blue tint, just searched ebay for "buell bulb" and up they came. Search ebay seller for "aceparts" or "aceparts.com" and see what comes up. got a cool LCD keyring torch with my order as a bonus! Have just placed an order with Claussstudios for a clear lens. Best price I was able to find, US$30. Hope this helps! |
