I was looking at the 25th Anniv. Issue of Fuell and the picture of the first XB9R had what looked like a roller skate wheel for a tensioner pulley. And my my bike has the pulley like all the other bikes. The 4" wheel. Or is the difference else where? |

Looking at your profile pic. You have the 03 belt, pulley system and front sprocket guard. |

Or is the difference else where? Visually, the pulley looks the same on the 2003 as the later models, but the are slightly different dimensions. The 03 has a different front and rear sprocket, different belt, and different belt guards. 03 version has an 11mm pitch, the newer ones have a 14mm pitch. If you can still read the part number printed on the outside of the belt, a 2004 or later belt should be marked G0500.1AAA or G0500.1AAE. The original 2003 belt numbers were G0500.02A8F and G0500.02A8R, both are 155 tooth belts. |

If that's the bike in your profile. You have the 03 system. That bike in the fuell mag must be a pre production bike. What I figured at least. |
