my last bike: 2 tone powder coated wheels. they were originally silver. I removed the original 3 spoke rear and replaced it with a 5 spoke off an F3 (which allowed me to run a 170 rear). This is a multi-step process. First the silver was stripped. Next the center spokes were taped off, and the out side rim shot in red, reversed the tape, and shot the spokes black. Baked after each time the paint was shot. Don't know if this is what you had in mind, but it is about 150% the cost of a standard powder coating. I will be doing something like this to the buell... just working on ideas still. |

Blue to rear, IMNSHO. What about the idea of different colours per side? |

So far I'm liking the front better. Something about sets it off. Remember..... sometimes what seems wrong is ohhhh so right. |

I like the blue front also. The amber wheel looks more powerful while the blue is more seductive. Like a Navy Blue Angel jet, blue leads the way while the amber jet flame is out back. I should make recruiting commercials. |

I vote blue in rear. The amber front wheel flows with the amber levers, the rear blue wheel flows with the blue spring. But then what do I know, I like everything black. |

I think Johntman's been watching too much of the "Adult" Smurf cartoons. |

Thanks John for the photoshop work. The blue in the pics looks slightly darker then the wheels really are but good enough for me to get a good look so I could decide. Blue front.... just has to be. |
