that's just this author's opinion and you know what they say about opinions: "opinions are like assholes and sometimes the two have a lot in common" |

"So I own #1 and #10... I guess I like ugly bikes." Heh, heh... it must be nice to be you! I think the CB400F is one of the most attractive motorcycles ever. The fact that that particular bike is on the list makes me think the list was compiled by someone I wouldn't agree with about anything anyway. |

You all know this guy (and all others like him) is a troll, right? He just want's to get attention and he isn't above cheap shots to get it. Huh -- I am jealous that my 12R isn't on the list. I LIKE it when dopey wankers hate my bike -- means they don't hang around me or my bike! Personally I prefer the lopsided nature of my XB -- I like function trumping form, since the function is to keep rubber side down. It's pointless to argue ascetics anyways -- it is personal opinion. One person's work of art is another person's garbage. |

Give the guy a break, I mean it gets boring living in moms basement, spending all weekends dateless, saving allowance for the new World of Warcraft cards, and Badweather give him a break from MySpace, Friendster, Facebook and Lowered Expectations. If he really had a bike (any bike for that matter) he would be jumping up and down on his pull out couch happy like Tom Cruise when interviewed by Oprah about his Mad Two Wheel Skillz yo. At least his pathetic little existence will end with the impending Black hole that is coming ... |

You notice that the SV1000S (He didn't even get the model right) is on there too, one of the nicer metrics and a very similar bike to the XB? I think he must be a chrome and plastic lover -- doesn't like the engineering showing. And the BSA -- sorry but I gotta get it out...WTF!!! You know, besides the KZ1300 I don't see any "ugly" bikes on that list -- not the best looking but not "ugly". What a re-tread. You want ugly? Suzuki Katana -- the '80s hair band of motorcycles -- or how about that fugly H-D Heritage Soft Tail Classic? Had one as a loaner a few times and man, they are ugly -- in this weird, bland way. The just have no heart, no soul...Kinda like '80s Caddys and '90s Lincolns...or maybe it's just me. (Message edited by retrittion on September 11, 2008) |

He's recently stated (in reply to my post) that the Vrod styling is the only modern H-D that he hates. I think that pretty much confirms his nuttiness because, if he thinks the the Vrod is "bland" and "ugly" compared to the Rocker C, well, he's off HIS rocker. Rocker C below.

His V45 looks a lot like the V65 that I had. I don't have a magnifying glass here, but it would be on the battery side cover. I have had three on that list also. I'm thinking that might just be what qualifies me to be a Buell owner. I like function over form. I spent two hours on the floor in the dealership marveling over the technology and artistic design that was my '05 City-X, when I first saw it. I'm thinking this guy has not ridden what he is critiquing. And, who says "that wonderful Sportster engine" when referring to a Buell? |

No way... Where is the BMW K1, the Bimota Mantra, the Honda PC800 and the Morbidelli V8? http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/photos/schemephotos/K1-%2 03.jpg http://www.moto85.com/fichiers/Images/annonces/zoo m/1500223_1.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/82 /Honda_PC_800.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/carpetback/iblog/C12374490 76/E20080327171829/Media/morbidelli_v8.jpg Crash them... crash them immediately. |

LOL, I actually like the first two! I'd rock that Beemer in a heartbeat, and slap some of these on it:

Wow, I forgot how hideous the K1 was. However, it can be topped by this: http://www.sidecar.freeuk.com/k1.jpg Even today I'm still not impressed with most of the motorcycle designs emanating from Bavaria. |
