OK so i had to go to Seattle but I did find an '04 XB12R in unmolested condition with 10K miles. Rode it 600 miles in two days to Boise, Idaho. Black and gold in color....sweet. What is the deal with the gas dripping from the vent tube on hot days? Anyone? |

Congrats and don't fill above the start of the neck. The overflow is somewhere around there. |

Mine drips gas sometimes too on hot days after some decent riding. I take it as condensation from the gas heating up and evaporating a little through the vent tube. Usually only a few drops come out. |

'04 is the most trouble free, best looking, best running year for the 12R. It'll also make you taller, and chicks will dig you more. Congrats on the new scoot. |

Congrats on the ride! Welcome to the R Club -- we have only two rules: #1. Beat up anyone who calls it a crotch rocket. #2. Beat up anyone who calls it a crotch rocket. That about covers it...meetings are held whenever two or more of us happen to run into each other at a restaurant or gas station. |
