Does anyone know what the stock tooth count is on the rear pulley on the 08 XB12R's? Also does anyone know where you can find different size pulley's |

Forgot where I saw different size pulleys but they were very costly, went with chain conversion instead. |

As for what I've seen the chain conversion is costly as well. I think I seen it at like $400 or something. Is it more expensive than that. I know that chain sprockets are easier to come by though. |

Try Buell parts http://www.buellerparts.com.au/index.php They have this under performance products an the comments are We developed this as a means of gearing up our bike to make it more comfortable for touring. We assume that there are probably others that would like to do the same, so we have added it as a product. This gears the bike up by around 10%. 4th gear is just below the original 5th, which gives what we think is the next best thing to a 6th gear. We do not find that the bike suffers with first a bit higher, and we are pleased by the result |

Go with the chain kit. Pete at Grandstand Designes makes great ones. I have two with untold miles on them and not one problem, especialy with the automatic oiler. See "chain conversion available" on XB Board. |
