After deciding on a bike and waiting two agonizing weeks I picked it up yesterday. It's an 03 xb9r, battle blue with the race kit. I found it here in the classifieds and got a great deal on it. This has been my exact dream bike since high school when they were first released. It has 5k miles, race kit, new mitzler tires, and is in great condition. It's a beautiful bike, and I got so many stares, compliments, questions, and "what is it"s. I have only ever seen one other firebolt around here, but I did see a couple tubers and lightnings yesterday cause the Peoria TT races were going on. It's got the perfect sound, I actually had an Outlaw (pretty rough local bike gang) follow me into my friend's driveway and ask me what it is and why it sounded as good as his harley. To make a long story short, I love my new bike and can't wait to start riding it more and meet more great people! | ||

Aeholton is right. Amy Winehouse is more likely to get clean and live a normal life than you are to ever get away from Buell. Good luck and welcome to the madness. | ||

hi my name is hotrod, and i'm an addict. i've been riding 100/150 miles a day since the last day of May. i rode 109 miles this morning for no reason at all. i can't help it. my wife is a serious enabler...she insisted i ride all weekend, and even coughed up some extra $$ for gas. we invent the lamest reasons to go riding...my cigarette lighter just died, would you pick up a new one.....we need a couple ears of sweet corn to go with dinner tonight....what's over that hill....golly, the weather sure is nice...you get the idea. and all this talking hasn't helped a bit, think i'll just give in and hit the road. again. | ||
