Mine popped on decel quite a bit at first, now it only does it VERY rarely and only if I engine brake under a good load (ie, with a passenger on the bike).   Freyke Posted on Friday, October 17, 2003 - 06:56 am:        Chaser, IMHO, It should "burble and pop" a little, particularly when freshly started from cold... It should when warmed up to operating temp almost go away; maybe a slight "burble" - no "pop"... Mine does now under HARD engine braking or if I do the on/off switch thing with the throttle as opposed to rolling it. Don't worry.. I LOVE IT!
