those scoops look so big. The R fairing kinda blends them in and they don't stand out. Now they do. |

those scoops look so big. The R fairing kinda blends them in and they don't stand out. Now they do. I always thought they looked like they were trying to blend in on the R but were not totally achieving that objective (until they introduced the white and blue). On the CR I feel like they are the focal point of the bike and they totally work by themselves. Just a different pov. I really like the white 1125R and so far I think both available colors of the CR look great.} |

Whooph, that's ugly. The 1125s look best with full fairings and belly pans. Less attention drawn to those pods. |

I think the red would look better with black scoops. The color makes them look like an ugly female gymnast with shoulder pads. |

Yeah, the CR is UGLY... we want to know about the XR1200! Was this is the US? If so, they may be close to releasing them here. The XR1200 has been tested in Europe, and Cathcart says it'll hold it's own vs Aprilia Tuono and KTM Duke... no small feat for anything HD! I have a standing order with my dealer for one, they just have no idea when/if they'll get them. Please share any info you can about this bike! |

XR1200 is a terrible bike, nothing to do with Tuono, Superduke and... XB! No engine, no brakes, no frame, cheap details. |

I like the red caliper! Looks pretty nice, I am looking forward to seeing one with 9sx bars on it (if they will even fit). |

Really, do those scoops need to be that big in order to perform their function |

I love the look of the CR. But I do keep seeing the head and shoulders of a transformer (windscreen/headlight and scoops) I will take a red one or orange for that matter. |

The Cr was at the Rocker in Milwaukee. I saw a pic of a black one too. Must have been either Buell or HD factory boys. |

147db- Terrible bike... based on what? I'm referring to an actual road test done by Alan Cathcart (who I trust completely) in the July 2008 issue of Motorcyclist. Here's what he said: "The XR handles brilliantly, even by the standards of such benchmarks as the Aprilia Tuono or KTM Superduke" "Twin Nissin four-piston calipers make this the best-braking bike in the H-D lineup." "...the four-piston, 292mm front brakes are so responsive that it generally requires no more than a single finger to produce hard stops. Amazing- good brakes on a Harley Sportster!" "Brakes are among the best ever fitted to a Harley..."(fyi... Harley now outsources brakes to Brembo for most models) "... a surprisingly effective chassis honed by none other than nine-time AMA Grand National Champion Scott Parker and a satisfying powerplant that delivers a claimed 91 horsepower- 20 up on the standard XL1200 Sportster" "The XR is satisfyingly fast and torquey to ride hard, with the well-mapped fuel injection delivering good midrange response and respectable top-end performance, pulling to an indicated 200 kph (124 mph) in top gear." "The sharp-looking fuel tank faithfully recreates the shape of the XR750 racebikes... The one-piece tailsection resembles an oversized version of the racebike's cowling... Like the racebike it's meant to emulate, the XR1200 should be considered a solo conveyance." It goes on and on... I highly recommend reading the entire article (especially about the many Buell-inspired engine upgrades too numerous to list here). Finally- a Sportster worthy of it's heritage... and not available in the US! I can't wait to get my hands on one. |

I like the XR1200 as well. Not sure what niche it will fall into though. |

147db- Terrible bike... based on what? Based on a 30' test ride on one gray XR and an "ability challenge" at The Legend On Tour ( http://www.thelegendontour.com/ ) on another XR, red this time. This color does not matter, that bike is definitely off of all the bueller's parameters. |

147db- You got to ride one...where? The link only goes to a billboard ad. I assume you mean a 30 minute ride (not feet), right? Also, it's not supposed to perform like a Buell, just the way a Sportster should (like a Bonneville/Legend/Guzzi/etc...) but never has. This is a sport-cruiser, not a street-fighter or sport bike... that's what the Buell is for. I'm very interested where you had access to this bike. |

It has kind of the same feel of a new V-Max or B-King, but much cleaner, the other two are very cluttered. I like the CR. |
