Hi all. I have to do something about the cheese grater. I like GONEN60's home chop job, but if I get pulled by the cops I'll have to put it back to standard - so - anyone know how much the stock part costs vs a good looking after market fender eliminator? The exchange rate is killing me as I live in Oz....$300 US is a lot of dosh.... |

Replacement Center Tail section was quoted at 97 US dollars to me. Thats the stock cheese grater. I picked up the replacement one from R-R-Customizing.de for a little over 200 US. I think I saw one at americansportbike.com for considerably less. best of luck to ya' --AustinRider |

Cheers Austinrider. I'll price the replacement part here in Oz and if the price is comparable, looks like I'll pick one up and chop it, else import one from the States. |

Sorry to hijack this thread, but as anyone had a go at chopping their rear end down on the 9s ? was it easy, how did you re-mount the licence plate ? any pictures avalible ? I'm aware Trojan Horse here in the UK make a shortened rear for the 9/12s,but I fancied having ago at fabricating one myself. Also are Kellermann turn signals made in America? can anyone help me with a link so I can buy direct ? |
