Is the manuel that comes with the bike the best way to set up the dialings on the suspension? I have new tires and lost a little weight. Bike rides different. Any suggestions? Thanks |

My thought is the manuals setting are ok if you are a lighter weight (160/175) and have the front and rear preload adjusted correctly. If you weigh more than listed above I do not think the manuals damping settings are correct and the rear preload allows to much sag which is great for wheelies but not cornering. I think the Shawn Higbee settings are much more confidence inspiring at least for me (I am 200Lbs geared up) without the wallow and porpoising I was getting with the manuals damping and preload settings. The bike is extremely flickable and goes exactly where pointed and is an absolute blast to ride. |
