They're all inverted 43mm Showa forks and whatnot, so where do the travel differences between models come from? Is it simply a result of the different rakes/angles, or do they have different guts? ~SM |

The models with the longer fork travel (STT, Uly, etc) have longer fork tubes and shafts, allowing for the longer travel. Thus the higher seat heights on those models... |

Oops, I meant both. So, while they're the same brand, they're actually different parts. That answers my question. I guess when I ultimately need my forks and whatnot redone, I'll probably change them altogether. I REALLY want a Uly seat on my Ss, but I want to eliminate any chance of hard contact. ~SM |

on my XT its not the long travel fork. funny swords man cause i want the Ss seat and tail piece for my uly. |
