Went on a group ride today. It was for a great cause (fellow motorcyclist passed away last month, we were placing a cross at the intersection) So I got back on to ride home, Up came the kickstand and I slipped on some dirt. Fell right over. Quite funny to me since I had time to say S**** and make everyone look as I was on my way down. No damage to my firebolt, and everyone was quick to jump over and help me pick her up.... WHEW! today was also the first group ride for me and we even had another firebolt! |

Similar thing happened to me but there was no one around to see it (a good thing) and no one to help pick it up (a bad thing). Strained a muscle or three. Consider the bar end and swingarm sliders from DarkHorseMoto. Easy to install and cheap to replace if "used". |
