Is it normal for the idle to start out below 1,000 and then come up to 1k when warm? This is opposite of any car i've ever owned. Mine is a little rough when cold, but smooths right out when warm and sits between 950-1000. Also, where is this idle screw I keep reading about? I looked at the front of the motor, but didn't see anything. I'll put up a short video, give me a second. |

Mine idles low until warm then she sits at about 1050. I'm pretty certain that it's normal. If you do adjust your idle, do it only when the bike is fully warm. 1050 is pretty much where these bikes like it at full operating temps. And yes,.. It is opposite of any vehicle I've seen as well. They tend to idle high then drop down where as the Buell idles low then rises (Message edited by Metalstorm on July 27, 2008) |

Thanks Eric. I'll go out and look again. Here's a short video. In the beginning it had been idling for 2 minutes maybe, but it was probably fully warm at the end. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=aAYqCdPEyu8 |

Found it, is it right or left to raise the idle? Nevermind, it's to the right. (Message edited by moosestang on July 27, 2008) |
